Use the visual arts to build skills for collaboration, communication, and responsible decision making. In this workshop, educators will consider potential areas of conflict when working in a group, brainstorm possible solutions, and participate in a collaborative art-making activity. Throughout the session, participants will consider the significance of creativity and its role in K-8 learning. Participants will leave with a renewed appreciation for the importance of creativity in an educational setting and with a creative strategy for engaging students in collaborative work.

  • Session 4 of a 4 part series. Can also be presented as a stand alone session.
