Community Outreach Events
KID smART offers two free, family-focused events, Best Fest in the fall and ART JAM in the spring.
These events invite families near and far to experience and create works of art that blend artistic disciplines with academic subjects. Best Fest celebrates the beginning of the school year with an interactive event. ART JAM partners with community organzations, bringing hundreds of participants to the historic 7th Ward during the spring festival season.

About Cocktails for KID smART
Cocktails for KID smART is the primary vehicle through which the community at large supports the mission of KID smART. The event raises 10% of KID smART’s annual budget.
This event supports the expansion of programming in our Creative Schools and enables KID smART to be a powerful force on behalf of arts education in the city.
