Delia Grimes

In-School Programs Manager

Delia Grimes moved from her childhood home in the Twin Cities to New Orleans in 2018 and received a BPH in Public Health and Political Science with a focus in urban studies, childhood health, and education equity. She previously worked at the Walker Art Center as a Teen Art Council member and later at the New Orleans Museum of Art. Both of these positions, and opportunities throughout her youth to participate in arts programs, gave her a deeper appreciation for how the arts can change lives and empower people of all ages. Delia is passionate about facilitating unique and impactful programs that inspire a love of art and learning for students. In her free time, Delia enjoys playing roller derby, board games, crocheting, reading, ceramics, and crafting.
