Building a Stronger Arts Education Ecosystem in New Orleans
New Orleans
Arts Education Alliance
(NOAEA)
The NOAEA brings educators, artists, arts organizations, schools, funders, and community leaders together to strengthen access to arts education across New Orleans.
Operated by KID smART, NOAEA serves as a hub for data, connection, communication, and advocacy that is helping our community understand where arts education is happening, identify gaps, and build stronger partnerships.
Discover Arts Education Across New Orleans
The NOAEA Data Hub is New Orleans’ only centralized arts education data resource. Through the interactive map, users can explore arts education programs, discover community and school-based opportunities, and better understand how access varies across the city.
The Data Hub supports:
Parents and families: Find arts education programs and opportunities.
Schools: Identify potential arts education partners.
Arts organizations: Understand community needs and opportunities for collaboration.
Funders: Make informed investments in arts education.
Community leaders and policymakers: Identify gaps and disparities in access.
Researchers: Explore connections between arts education, student achievement, social-emotional development, workforce readiness, and well-being.
The map and data hub are living resources that help our community make informed decisions and work toward more equitable access to arts education.
“NOAEA gives our city a way to look at the bigger picture, understand where the needs are and work together to create more equitable opportunities for every student.”
